About Wild Fire Lady

I am a wildland firefighter. I have worked almost all facets of wildfire. I started from the very bottom of the pole as a Camp Crew Member. I worked as an AD (emergency/on call) firefighter  on Type 2 Hand Crews and on Type 6, 4, and 3 engines. I worked on prescribed burn crews, in fire prevention as a Wildland Fire Investigator, and as a crew member on the Jackson Hotshots.
I've worked on crews in Utah, Mississippi, Arkansas, and California.
I've been on fire assignments or project assignments in Utah, Nevada, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Louisiana, New Mexico, Arizona, Oregon, and California.

I've also had the opportunity to work with a variety of agencies: Bureau of Land Management, National Park Service, The Nature Conservancy, and the Forest Service. Every day is a day for learning.

Follow me on my wild journey of firefighting.
